Technology

Basically, we distinguish between water-carrying operation, electric operation, and mixed operation. All design radiators from HSK can be connected to the heating system. Only the infrared radiator Retango and the new purely electric dry radiators Yenga-E and Baro-E are independent of the central heating system and are connected to the power grid. Thus, they are completely flexible to use and particularly advantageous where there is no connection to the heating system, e.g., in old buildings or attics. A popular electric alternative to classic central heating also includes a heating rod in the design radiator.

The optimal design between heating power and modern aesthetics creates a cozy warmth in the desired room and simultaneously becomes an eye-catcher, whether on the wall or as a room divider. It is crucial to consider the size of the area to be heated and the design pursued by the decor. We offer designer radiators with different power levels, also suitable for low-temperature systems and heat pumps. For particularly critical splash water areas near the shower cabin, shower tray, or sink, many models are available with an additional anti-corrosion protective layer.

For design radiators from HSK, there is a wide selection of colors. In addition to the standard colors, several special colors are available. The material and surface of the HSK design radiators are made of high-quality steel, and all products receive a standard anti-corrosion pretreatment. Furthermore, the two-component plastic powder coating ensures a long lifespan and excellent substance. The desired color is thus light- and temperature-resistant, durable, and guarantees the best surface appearance.

Which radiators are suitable for the heat pump?

Optimal are radiators that are suitable for low temperatures. Heat pumps operate most efficiently with low flow temperatures between 30 and 50 °C. Radiators with a large surface area, such as our XXX???, are ideally suited for this.

Electric design radiators

We essentially distinguish between electric operation and infrared heating. In electric operation, the design radiator is heated purely electrically or by the heating element, and the heat is gradually released to the surrounding air. An infrared heater does not warm the room air but heats objects and bodies in the room, which in turn leads to an increase in room temperature.
